Prototype chair, our customer wasn't sure exactly what he wanted so we made this prototype so he could get a physical idea of how well it suited his needs. He loved it so much that we produced the order without making any changes to the original design.

Suburst melted glass. This feature was made by melting several different colours of glass in the forge and stirring it while it was molten. The result is stunning when it catches the sun in the early morning.
Post transition. These post transitions from the iron gate to the wooden posts are constructed of 1/2in steel and will certainly outlast the posts. Until then they keep the posts from warping and solidly in place to keep the gate aligned.
Post transition, you can see the sort of blending of times with the almost medieval shape of the heavy metal and hand forged bolts with the straight lines of the gate portico, and the solar powered light in the background.
